In the following short article Kerry explains….

Why is it important to wear a sports bra….?

In my experience when it comes to sports bra’s many ladies think, what is all the fuss about but the facts speak for themselves…

Breasts are mostly composed of fatty tissue and are supported by skin and ligaments called Coopers Ligaments. As these are not elastic during high impact sports, the breasts bounce and pull on these ligaments causing them to stretch.

Saggy boobs!!!

Once these ligaments have stretched, they stay this way… resulting in every womans nightmare – saggy boobs!!!

Also, without the support it can cause breast pain and upper back and shoulder problems, along with runaway straps and chafing skin

Interesting fact……

If an average woman was to run without a bra,

her breasts would move up and down by 8.5cm!!!

By wearing an ordinary bra this would reduce by approx 32 per cent,

wearing a sports bra will reduce this by approx a further 20 per cent.

So with these facts in mind, Come on girlies order your sports bra now!

Emily Rose Lingerie offer some fantastic sports bra in their range,
