What Are Your Instruments? | Personal Training And Lifestyle Coaching Northants

Hey Guys! Guess what? I randomly stumbled across some interesting facts about aircraft travel. Seems totally irrelevant to fitness I know, but just hear me out on this one!

Did you know an aircraft is “off course” about 95% of the time it is in flight!

Scary right…

Well it is, until you understand why a pilot has the mass array of instruments at their disposal to help get them back on the flight path in order to land at their destination safely.

Reading this struck me immediately with what we do at LPT.

One key difference I notice with people who manage to be consistent with their health, fitness & lifestyle performance is they ALSO have an array of their own personal instruments they regularly use when they start to wain “off-track” from their goals to get them re-aligned with their destination.

These can take the form of all sorts of things from

…Having a coach

…Batch cooking

…Intermittent fasting

…Accountability buddy

…Using a Fitbit/tracker

…Journaling weekly/monthly progress

…Using apps like LPT’s Fitclients to regularly load up your statistics

…Having progress reviews with yourself where you simply lay out the truth of where you are right now, what are the obstacles & what resources can you use to overcome those obstacles.

The list really is ENDLESS.

The point is having your own instruments can be the crucial thing between you reaching your goals and NOT.
